What Can I Expect?

What to Expect After Laser Treatment

Knowing what to expect after your treatment will help you protect your skin in the days and weeks following it. You may feel itching or stinging sensations for 12-72 hours after the procedure. To minimise this, we recommend doing the following:

Patients should protect their faces from the sun for a few days after treatment.
Use broad-spectrum sunscreen for your face with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 50.

I was a bit worried about discomfort going in, but she made sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment. She was very thorough with the cleaning while also being gentle. She did a thorough clean yet still managed to remain gentle and continued to check up on how I was feeling throughout. Afterwards she took time to explain to me how to maintain the results of the clean for as long as possible via interdental brushing. My 8 year old lost his adult tooth playing and was in a lot of pain. Even though it was close to the surgery closing time , the staff were nothing short of amazing. The genuine care they all showed was incredible and goes over and above being a ‘dentist’. The tooth was put back and hopefully all will be fine.
